About the Job
Our support workers play a vital role in supporting individuals who need assistance due to age, disability, illness, or other vulnerabilities. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being, dignity, and independence of those they care for.

Key Responsibilities
–  provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring hygiene and comfort.
–  assist with meal preparation, helping individuals maintain a balanced diet.
–  medication management, ensuring prescribed treatments are taken correctly.
–  emotional support is essential, offer companionship, encouragement, and a listening ear.

Support staff can be employed in residential care homes, assisted living facilities, private homes, or hospitals. The work involves shift patterns, including nights and weekends. Our support workers collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to provide holistic care.

Skills and Qualifications
While formal qualifications may not always be required, compassion, patience, and strong communication skills are essential. Some roles may need certifications in health and social care, first aid, or specialised training for conditions like dementia.
